Colour

Indigo belongs to neither name. It is not the two palettes averaged, because near-black mixed with warm beige is mud: it is a third canvas, chosen the way the mark between the two shapes was.

The human side's scale, halved at every step. A reader who has seen the right angle and the curve reads anything between them as neither of those two.
